personal life
As an enthusiastic artist, I spend my free time doing a lot of glass blowing, photography, writing, painting, sculpting, and creating interactive digital art. Just recently (Spring 2012), I was proud to receive the Tryon Award from Smith College Museum of Art for my new and innovative art work in new media.

I also love to travel. In fact, many years ago I left to spend a few months in New Zealand and didn’t end up returning to the States for another seven years. I spent a year living in New Zealand, six in Australia, and have travelled extensively in India, France and the US. I am always down for an adventure!
